Slater
Laverda has always had the same workshop facilities with
all the mechanics over the years having been under the
tutelage of Richard Slater.
Richard initially trained at the Laverda factory in Breganze,
Italy.
Frank Blundell, who has been with the company for fifteen
years has now taken over control of the workshop with
Richard Slater on hand with help and his expertise. |
The workshop currently undertakes all aspects of servicing,
repairs, overhauls, engine/gearbox rebuilds, accident
and insurance refurbishment, lead free conversion, MOT
work, frame straightening, re-bores and crank rebuilds.
At the workshop carburettors are stripped, cleaned and
tuned and brake master cylinders and calipers overhauled.
Specialist services include; - Polishing, bead blasting,
powder coating, re-chroming and paintwork.
All quality materials used and original equipment where
possible.
